Starbound rates as not only one of the funniest episodes of this wonderful show, bit one of the funniest things ever made, it is a side splitting comedy masterclass from start to finish.
Where do you even begin, the humour is outrageous, it doesn't let off for a minute, laughs throughout, until that barrage of laughs at the end, all to Mr Tambourine Man, it's one of the funniest sequences ever made. That must have taken some time to set up and get right, it's an incredible moment.
You have the added bonus of the daddy, Ray Winstone, who does comedy amazingly well, he's so funny, and so dishy. Rula Lenska is great also, I loved the way she tormented poor Patrick.
The surreal side comes from the surgical implements, what this one doesn't have so much is that deeper, more serious side, it's pure unadulterated fun.
It is sublime. 10/10.
