Quite entertaining

This episode explored a theme I'd been wondering if the writers would have gotten around to.

A writer of Western novels doing research happens across a picture of the "Grail Gang" from 1893, and then sees a picture of the Double Eagle Detective Agency men.

The assumed the same post for both pictures, and he recognizes them. There's a little leap here where he decides they MUST be the same people, but we have to overlook that. I believe most people might accept the explanation they were grandsons and picked up enough genes to look the same.

The authors wants to hire them to teach him how things really happened in the Old West. At the same time one of the nasty guys they helped put in jail gets out on parole ... big oversight by the parole board, since all he wants is revenge, and violent revenge.

A couple of these episodes have been on the iffy side, but if you overlook the jump in logic by the author, this one hangs together pretty well and even has a couple of quite amusing sections of dialogue.

Well worth the watch.
