- Someone has gone to great trouble creating Lord Brett's flawless copy, who masquerades as his indistinguishable impersonator while in his absence. What is worth that endeavour and could Danny tell the difference between them?
- Knocked unconscious after a staged road block, Brett awakes in a fake hospital, from which he eventually escapes, to be told by Danny that he has a double who has been impersonating him. Reclusive millionaire Sam Milford is due in town and Brett is one of the few people he trusts to come near him. Danny reasons that the double is out to kill Sam but then realises that there is no double and Brett himself was programmed to kill whilst in hospital.—don @ minifie-1
- Shadowy and inscrutable mystery shrouds the inexplicable case of Lord Brett's disappearance, since the day that he was knocked unconscious after offering a helping hand to a damsel in distress, somewhere in the English countryside. But to make matters worse, a bruised and perplexed Brett will find himself lying in a hospital bed with a serious case of concussion and a lot of blank spaces, only to be informed later by Danny that while in his seven-day absence, a perfect image who walks and talks like him has been acting as Brett's indistinguishable impersonator. Without a doubt, there must be something really important about Brett's face; an enigma somehow linked to Sam Milford, a reclusive and unreachable shipowner and one of Brett's oldest friends. However, the question remains: who would go to so much trouble learning Brett's gestures and mannerisms, and in addition, what has really occurred in the course of those seven missing days?—Nick Riganas
