Brian manipulates people's emotions for the benefit of the club.
I remember watching this episode when it was first released over 20 years ago and being flabbergasted by the hilarious audacity of the character Brian Potter in this episode. The humour is pretty dark at times, but it is delivered in such a ridiculous way by the characters that it works brilliantly.
There are several high quality moments that standout in a quite prolific episode. My favourite parts are all the scenes involving Brian and his exploitation of Jerry Dignan for the sake of "Talent Trek". The scenes involving Karate Kid: The Musical and Max's personalised car alarm are great too.
All actors are on great form, especially Peter Kay and David Bramwell.
