A great written episode.

This is a unique and interesting story that is far from the norm. In fact, the story is so refreshing that it holds up today even today.

The story begins when a family from Argentina arrives in North Fork and buys a ranch near the McCain's spread. The family consist of the father, a daughter and a hot-headed son named Manolo. Right when the family arrives there is already bigotry talk lead by a rancher named Curge Palmer.

Mark even joins in on the talk until Lucas intervenes. And now he is going to show Mark that all foreigners are not bad people. So he arranges, with the father, to have Mark ride with Manolo for a few days. This will show Mark that is quick assumption of the people are false.

Meanwhile, the daughter is dating a local man named Ned -which is much to the chagrin of Manolo. Manolo even made threats to Ned if he courts his sister again. When Ned is found with his head beat-in, it is the bigot, Curge Palmer, that knows Manolo is guilty and is ready to ride out and bring him to jail. It will be Lucas that will help Micah out and talk with Manolo.

You may believe that this is a predictable plot that will play out like so many other programs in the series. Hold on to your remote and continue watching cause you are in for a treat. One of the better episodes in the collection.
