Just not as impressed with the episode as others as we get a schoolmarm, Miss Adams, basically being ran out of town for a situation that kind of goes against where the plot was first leading.
Miss Adams is a vocal supporter of the right for women to vote and even plans a rally inside North Fork. But when she is met by Old man Healey and his two sons, she quickly decides to take the stagecoach out of town. There is more going on than just people not wanting to see women vote and Lucas will find out.
Thought this was going to be centered on the women suffrage movement in the old west but was somewhat disappoint when the story moved away from that topic into another situation that was less interesting. Casting the beautiful Patricia Berry as the school teacher was an overplay by the casting director. Perhaps a more homely woman was needed since Ms Berry's beauty would turn any head. The story really was not bad- it just had an interesting topic and then elected to move in another direction.
