Johnny Clover (Dennis Hopper) is the bad kid at school and wrecks the place in the opening scene. His uncle, John Hoyt wants to take it out of his hide. Well known character actor of the 50s and 60s Robert Foulk is helping out any way you can and his teacher, Patricia Barry only sees the good in the boy. The three legged race at the end with Chuck Connors and Johnny Crawford sets the backdrop of a great ending scene. Dennis Hopper proves early on that he is destined to be a great American actor.
