Willie is worried about his father's health while he deals with a brutal beating of a teenage boy, a lost little girl and a hysterical woman about to give birth.
A very good though episodic show. The boy who was beaten ends up dying of his wounds. John Travolta, in an early performance, plays the one responsible, he turns into a crybaby at the end. Scott Jacoby (Bad Ronald and other TV movies of the time) plays Travolta's younger brother. The lost little girl is found in an abandoned refrigerator in a junk yard, Willie has to revive her. Annette O'Toole appears as the pregnant woman, she has a funny line when she meets Gillis and Webster: "If you guys hang around for a few minutes, we'll have a fourth for bridge!" In the end, Willie is relieved when his father turns out to be OK after some hospital tests.
