Fred G. Sanford : You were nice enough to give me a tip about my TV, so I'm gonna give you a tip. You got a lot of equipment on that truck, right?
TV Repairman : Yeah.
Fred G. Sanford : Well, here's my tip: get out of this neighborhood before it gets dark.
TV Repairman : [Chuckling] I don't worry about that. I'm bonded.
Fred G. Sanford : And that's how they'll find you - bonded and gagged.
-
Grady Wilson : You stubborn, bull-headed, old buzzard!
Fred G. Sanford : Who you callin' old?
-
TV Repairman : [First lines] Well, I've got good news and bad news. The good news is, it won't cost you anything to get this repaired.
Fred G. Sanford : What's the bad news?
TV Repairman : It can't be repaired.
-
Fred G. Sanford : Listen Grady don't pay no attention to Lamont, here look it here, look it at it nice.
Grady Wilson : That's nice I used to have a set with remote control.
Fred G. Sanford : Yeah and then when you hold it down, look at that, you outta see them channels just whiz on through Vroom! You know what I mean?
Grady Wilson : That's what my set used to do.
Fred G. Sanford : Yeah, and I got fine tuning on there.
Grady Wilson : My set had that too.
Fred G. Sanford : Yeah, and I got push and pull and on and off switches.
Grady Wilson : Well my set did that.
Fred G. Sanford : Yeah, and look look at this fine veneer walnut finish.
Grady Wilson : Just like my set. Hey you know what?
Fred G. Sanford : Mmhh?
Grady Wilson : This is my set!
-
Fred G. Sanford : Nobody proved that that television was stolen!
Lamont Sanford : Pop that set was stolen out of Grady's house and you know it!
Fred G. Sanford : Who says? Grady says? I could have said it was mine! That's hearsay evidence and that's inadmissible!
Lamont Sanford : Where did you learn that from? Perry Mason?
Fred G. Sanford : No, Watergate.
Lamont Sanford : Well if you are so sure that set wasn't stolen why did you sell it?
Fred G. Sanford : Because I got tired of listening to all that inadmissible evidence at this point in time.
