The first, proper, stand-alone episode of the show after the two-part introduction. I enjoyed this one for a couple of reasons, not least that the focus of the plot is on Darwin the dolphin, who has straight away become one of my favourite characters in the show (as a nature lover, how could it be otherwise?). I was astonished to find out that he's an animatronic puppet because he's very convincing for the most part. The other good news is that the great Ted Raimi gets plenty of screen time here as the tech geek character, and he's reliably excellent. It's nice to see Stephanie Beacham making her mark too and holding her own against Scheider. Roscoe Lee Browne is a welcome guest star.
