Trivia:

The season-eight episode "The Package", in which Newman grills Jerry about mail fraud, is a parody of Basic Instinct (1992). Wayne Knight, who plays Newman, appeared in that film.

Goofs:

Factual errors: Elaine is told she shouldn't be looking at her medical chart, and has to resort to sneaking her medical records out of her doctor's office, which gets her into trouble. New York state law requires all health care practitioners and facilities to grant patients access to their own medical records upon request.
