Nick Fury does not have gray hair at the temples like he does in the comics and on the action figure from the show's toyline.
The man at that says "Way to go, Spider-Man" after the Spider-Man rescues a disguised Chameleon from a crashed chopper, is voiced by Story Editor/Producer John Semper.
S.H.I.E.L.D. mentioned that the Chameleon has a miniature holographic projector and a microprocessor on his belt buckle to capture a person's image and create a hologram of it around himself. Though not explicitly said, The Chameleon also drank a serum that makes his flesh malleable so it can assume the features of virtually any human being. This version of The Chameleon is based on the changes David Michelinie and Todd McFarlane made to the character in "The Amazing Spider-Man" (Vol. 1) #107.
Story Editor/Producer John Semper won an Annie Award for Best Individual Achievement for writing in the Field of Animation for this episode.
This is the first appearance of Daily Bugle secretary Glory Grant.
