Life Sentence

Toby Reese (Harry Townes) is the man with the life sentence. Accused of cowardice and desertion during the civil war. He was never tried or convicted. He has to live with himself for his actions.

However Leo Calloway has come looking for Reese. A one armed veteran who was left for dead by Reese when he ran away from battle.

Calloway stopped the stagecoach that Simon Kane was riding, so sure that Reese was inside. Later his actions makes horses bolt that injures Davey Kane.

Clara Calloway looks after Dave while Simon Kane tries to stop Leo killing Reese.

However Clara finds herself whether to go after Reese herself.

A good performance from Townes conflicted and ashamed of his actions. Also good that Reese faced double jeopardy. If Leo does not get him, there is a chance that his wife would go after Reese.

The actions of the Marshall left a lot to be desired, he really let his won be the wild west.
