Guilty 'til proven innocent!
planktonrules19 February 2024
Dr. Gordon is NOT a happy man. His invalid wife is a horrible, argumentative person and taking care of her is like having a constant migraine. One evening, the Doctor pours drinks for friends....and somehow poison got into the wife's drink. She dies and he is now on trial for his life.

All this takes place in the first third of the show. The Doctor was found not guilty...yet the stigma of being accused of murdering his wife is too much for him. He's lost all his patients and in order to make a living, he decides to relocate to Ireland. Will things be better there? Probably not, as if they did, what would they do with the other two-thirds of the show?!

Robert Coote is very good in the lead and I like how you are never sure if the doctor is guilty or not through most of the show. The writing, also, is excellent. Overall one of the better episodes from the series that I've seen.
