Pretty Darn Good, Considering
proud_veggie6 October 2006
When I first saw the ad for this, I was like 'Oh here we go. He's done High School Musical, but he can't coast along on that so now he's making appearances on other Disney shows'. Personally, I love The Suite Life and I'm a big fan of Ashely Tisdale. But for some reason, I'm not too keen on Zac Efron, although all my friends think he's the best thing since Jesse McCartney. But he really annoys me. Anyway, I watched the show (taking a break from English coursework) and was pleasantly surprised. The performances were good all round, especially from the regular characters on The Suite Life, and Zac Efron wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. All in all, a pretty good show.

Great episode!

This episode of the Suite Life of Zac and Cody was totally the coolest. Not only was the amazing Zac Efron from my favorite Disney Channel Movie "High School Musical" in it, but it was so funny how London acts like a "merit scholar". I admit that the only reason I was really excited about this new episode was because of Zac Efron, but other wise, this show is the best ever. I am not really crazy about animated shows or "cartoon" ones. Overall, my favorite part in this show was the closet part (when everyone is shoved in it). Thats really funny and also stupid in a way! 9/ 10--Not the best, only because there wasn't a lot of Zac Efron in this episode.

Great Episode
vollmers29 December 2006
I am so glad Zac was in 'The Suite life of Zack and Cody' because that is my favorite show and he is my favorite actor. It is a really funny episode and a funny show!! I love everything about the show and the characters. All of the performers are great. Keep on acting Zac, and I am so happy that nearly all of my favorite actors (including High School Musical characters) are in this show. Zac Efron is so 'hot' and I have an autographed picture of him! It is not a photo copy, and it came all the way from America to Australia and it nearly did not arrive in time for Christmas. Also, I got a High School Musical Mug with my name printed on it. (Scarlett 8)

This episode is a blueprint for the rest of the series in that there is a considerable decline in quality and charm Warning: Spoilers
Even as my teen years are nearing its close, there is such charm that I find in the first season of "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody". The many colourful, supporting (adult) characters, the many valuable interactions between characters and a number of very interesting dynamics between characters (the relationship between twins and mother is very well handled early on) made for what I feel is a great first season of a show that manages to subvert expectations about a Disney Channel kids show.

This second season is where the show falls off the rail and the third season where they stumble to the finish line. The first episode, "Odd Couples" with guest star Zac Efron isn't the best of episodes the show has to offer (in spite of its high ranking among episodes on this site). The entire exchange between London and Efron's character is devoid of any fun, perhaps because London as a character might be one of the most irritable creations in television history.

The twins story has potential but never really goes anywhere. Replacing Tapeworm and Max are other characters, most of whom are far less interesting and don't fit into the group. Bob is a worthy addition and he's fun but this sub-plot isn't that much more exciting than the other. There is an interesting and utterly chaotic reference to the Marx Brothers "A Night at the Opera" in which Cody's new "room" is invaded by guest after guest. There's something amusing in all of that but I didn't find the episode to really find its footing until the final scene.

The London plot and most of her humour does not sit well for me AT ALL by this point and it's a black hole in terms of fun and charisma. The twins story meanders along to its finish and overall, I didn't find this episode too worthwhile.

Really funny
madmia310 March 2006
I absolutely loved this episode! It was really funny, especially the part with Zac Efron's Character Trevor finds out about London and gets in a fight with Maddie.I have seen a lot of episodes and this one is my favorite. The whole thing was funny. There weren't any goofs that I noticed and the acting was really good. I would recommend watching this show because of this episodes. It was a very good episode. The closet part with Zack and Cody was funny too. This show is normally pretty good but this episode was the best one in my opinion. It was also a pretty clean episode except for some kissing and someone could take something London says the wrong way.

confusing

It was very confusing, but u should have guest stars on more often! Like the time in the episode when Zac Efron is about to kiss Mattie it just didn't make any sense. i think u should do another episode with Zac Efron but make them want to kiss not like how that episode was with Mattie just saying "Do you want to kiss me as much as i want to kiss you?" That should have never happened if they were fighting. But the the rest of it and all the other episodes are good. You should really put Zac Efron back on the show because i got into the show much more since that episode. also if you do take my advice then please post it on the commercials so that i could know that it is happening and when it is on. Well its ten lines!laugh out loud. Keep up your good work.

P.s My friends love Cole, and Dillon and don't forget Zac Efron

Love, Brittany

10/10 Star Raiting!!! The best episode yet!!!
chanman01200020 February 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is a contemporary version of the famous balcony scene in the play "Cyrano de Burgerac." London relates so much to Christian because they are both dumb, Maddy and Cyrano are a lot alike because they are extremely smart and have big noses. Roxanne and Trevor aren't a lot alike, but have a few similarities. Next time it comes on I am going to record it and watch it over and over and over and over!!!!! I also like the part where Cody moves into the coat closet and puts all of the stuff in it! Good thing I don't share a room or my roommate would probably move out like Cody. I guess I should work on cleaning my room! :-P
