Nick speaks of spending his Saturday afternoons at matinees at the Roxy Theater. Well, the Roxy Theater (at least in New York City) was closed in the year 1960. Now Nick said in an earlier episode, he was about 30 years old , so Nick (and Rob Stewart the actor himself) would have been born around the year 1960. (Rob Stewart was actually born in 1961). Nick says he loved the double bills of western cowboy movies starring the real life person Roy Rogers and the fictional Dead Eye Dixon that were shown along with seven cartoons. Now historically, Nick would never have been able to have seen those movies since the theater had closed when he was just an infant. Plus, Nick would have been way too young to have seen those in an actual theater. The dialogue Nick speaks are realistic for a character and an actor who was actually born decades earlier.
Clint Walker, who played Dead Eye Dixon, was the 6 foot 6 inch star of Cheyenne, a television western that was very popular in its day. It ran from 1955 to 1963. Clint also made several movies, he co-wrote a novel, and he even recorded an album. He died 9 days short of his 91st birthday in 2018.
