- Jackie invites the guys to her high school dance; Kelso ditches the dance to visit Brooke at the library; Kitty casts a reluctant Red as the local Santa.
- The firm is mad enough to designate misanthrope Red as Santaclaus, instead of Bob who grudgingly accepts to assist as elf with Kitty, who by signing up the kids for the same duty unknowingly convinced the boys to attend the school dance they had sworn never to join again. Donna is furious when she learns Eric hangs out there and is now popular with a few schoolgirls, so she turns up during her radio show. Fez fears the football team will again lock him up in a locker. Hyde only came for Jackie's sake. Kelso only wanted to avoid going to the library as Brooke suggested, but changes his mind and is starting there to charm his way into his baby's mother's hart... - Jackie has been kicked off the cheer-leading squad. So, she wants Hyde to take her to a Christmas Eve dance party at their ex-high school, so she can show off her skills to her fellow cheerleaders (who will be there) and get her spot back on the team. Hyde hates the idea but agrees when Jackie says "please". Hyde wants the gang to go with him, but none of them wants to return there. Fez says that the jocks always put him into the locker. Eric says that he vowed never to return after graduation.
The mall is mad enough to designate misanthrope Red as Santa Claus, instead of Bob who grudgingly accepts to assist as Elf. Bob had been Santa for 3 years in a row before Red. Kitty has signed up the kids as helpers, thereby convincing the boys to attend the school dance that they had sworn never to join again.
Kelso goes to meet Brooke and she still doesn't let him near her or the baby bump. Kelso tries to convince her that he has matured now. As a compromise she agrees to let Kelso help her hang Christmas decorations at the library for the Christmas party. Kelso is repulsed by the idea of spending Christmas Eve at the library.
The gang heads to the school, But Donna is working at the radio station on Christmas Eve. Donna has been given the job to DJ on that evening, and if she does well, it will turn into a regular gig at the radio station. Donna is furious when she learns Eric is now popular with a few schoolgirls. Eric is also perplexed and believes that he got cool because he has graduated now. Eric was chatting up the girls at the school, and hence got late to pick up Donna from the radio station. One of the girls calls Donna's radio show to dedicate a request to Eric, so Donna turns up at the high school dance during her radio show. Donna is really mad at Eric but understands his position when a high school boy approaches her and appreciates her work as a Radio Jockey that evening.
Fez fears the football team will again lock him up in a locker. Hyde only came for Jackie's sake. Kelso goes as he simply wants to avoid spending Christmas Eve at the library. Kelso misses Brooke and eventually goes back to be with her and to show her that he has matured. Fez decides to sing on stage and is tackled down by the jocks.
Julie (Ashley Eckstein) is the current head cheerleader. Jackie behaves badly with her fellow cheerleaders all night, as that is the only language they understand. Jackie says that cheerleaders are bad girls who need to be punished and they know it. They invite her back on the team. But then Jackie says no. Jackie realizes that these girls are not her friends anymore.
The kids are treated by Santa to 'more sensible' toy choices (he gifts Math flash cards instead of slinky, boots instead of a pony, crushed dreams for a girl who wants a flying car) and bloody Vietnam stories, till Bob can't take it anymore. He forcefully replaces Red as Santa at the mall.
