  Narrator : On July 24th, Ranger Hoby Gilman arrived in El Paso. He'd been sent there to investigate a bank robbery, which had taken place on July 18th. Two men had held up a bank, taking fifty thousand dollars in new banknotes. One man had been killed, and the other wounded. The wounded man had been pursued to the Mexican border. His horse had been killed, but he had escaped. Two days later, a deputy sheriff who had been trailing the fugitive was found murdered.
