Lady Killer
mitchrmp9 July 2011
So, a woman walks into a sheriff's office and announces she's going to kill an outlaw. Not too big a problem if you ask me, but unfortunately the outlaw would be released in a couple days because his latest killing was declared self defense after the inquest. Hoby, thinking he can divert this feisty woman from carrying out her sentence, soon learns that this woman may very well beat him in a turkey shoot.

The acting was good, and Hoby of course saved the day at the end. Of course Hoby used the riles of women to get the confession, but he got the job done. It helped that he knew Kinkaid and his weakness for a supportive woman at his side, and it helped that Hoby suspected the woman would spill all if she was deceived.

Again, another hard case solved easily in thirty minutes by our one and only Hoby Gilman.

Protecting a man he hates.

Warning: Spoilers
Guest star Constance Ford is a welcome presence in every TV show and movie she's ever appeared in, from all those anthology shows like "Thriller" and "The Twilight Zone" to movies like "A Summer Plave" and "House of Women", and she's fantastic here. Showing up in town out of the blue, she tells ranger Robert Culp that she is there to kill the man who killed her husband, according to Culp in self defense. But she feels differently and is one determined lady, as good a shot as any man in the wild west. Culp offers her a sympathetic ear, and you can see in her eyes that it has made an impact. Stacy Harris as the target and Eve Miller as his girlfriend who tries to pay Ford off are also very good. A very intense episode with the exquiset Ford absolutely mesmerizing.
