Near the end as Dan is being stalked, the scene shows his gun (empty) on a pile of equipment as the killer is walking by. The next shot shows Dan putting his gun in that spot and climbing the pile.
Dan Tana asks for a dime to "make a phone call to the mainland" from a public booth in Hawaii. But when the woman receives the call, it is a collect call. There was no charge in the '80s to call the operator and request a collect call. Simply picking up the receiver and dialing 0 would do. (And a dime would have not put a call through to the mainland from Hawaii.)
About 31 min. in, during Dan Tana's run, the soundtrack plays the tam-tam of African drums instead of Hawaiian ones. (The show takes place in Hawaii.)
Lorne Greene's Spanish accent comes and goes.
