False flag is perhaps the saddest story from Waking the Dead, with the exception of Shadowplay. The team are called in to investigate the discovery of a young man's body, discovered mummified, with links to the IRA.
It's a very bleak story, but it's good, it's very clever, and very deep, there's more going on than you realise.
What makes this so sad for me is the character of Alice, she is such a tragic figure, Frances de la tour is wonderful.
