Walker goes to Miami! It's been several years since the last episode of the epic TV show "Miami Vice". What a treat for fans of MV and WTR to see a bit of both merged into this Undercover Drug Dealer story.
Sonny Burnett drove a Ferrari Testarossa, Cordell Walker one-ups him with a gull-wing Lamborghini Diablo. Burnett raced the waterways of Miami in a cigarette boat; in this saga Walker and his temporary partner are cruising in a very colorful speedboat.
We get the Miami nightclub scene, with dancing, miscegenation, Latin music, the works.
This show features Women's World Kickboxing Champion and Black Belt holder Kathy Long as an undercover cop. Kathy is a pretty girl, they doll up her real nice and pair her with Walker. You know she will get in on the action, and she does!
Also, a monster of a man is the bodyguard for bad guy Carlos Darius (actor Andrew Divoff). One of the most formidable foes that Walker has faced. The final showdown with Walker and Agent Cousins is epic. Does anyone know the name of that stuntman/actor? I have searched the internet, but cannot find him. He needs the credit that he is due.
Also, no spoilers here, but Chuck Norris reenacts a scene straight out of his classic film, "Good Guys Wear Black". Wait for it!
One nice touch of reality, as the show closes and Walker is sitting comfortably at C. D.'s bar, he is beat black and blue and wearing bandages. That's realistic, because how many times you see him get the carp kicked out of him, but the next day there is no black eye, no bruises? Good part on the writers.
This is one of the best episodes of WTR. 10 Stars!
