Lisa Mordente as Epstein's sister
kevinolzak1 July 2016
"A Love Story" welcomes a new Sweathog in the one time only appearance of Lisa Mordente as Epstein's baby sister Carmen, which she objects to since she's just ten months younger, just as adept at notes, mouthing each word like her big brother does, signed 'Epstein's sister's mother.' The others become infatuated with her, especially Arnold, but with Barbarino around she has eyes for no other guy. The overprotective Juan threatens any guy who goes out with Carmen, while Kotter tries to teach the Sweathogs about love. Vinnie's idea of love is simple: "love means never having to hear I'm pregnant!" Barbarino admits that he's got a disease he calls 'girl-itis,' his natural instincts taking over at the sight of a comely female. Arnold not only stands up to Vinnie, he makes an impression on Carmen, who agrees to go out with him if her brother stops foaming at the mouth. Barbarino doesn't sing the blues long, one snap of his fingers and a girl on each arm! Helaine Lembeck returns as Judy Borden, laughing maniacally at Juan's misfortune, unaware that he's on good terms with Principal Lazarus.
