When recounting a time meeting with potential donors, Leo mentions Johnny Walker Blue Label is aged 60 years. Blue Label is actually a blended Scotch with no age statement. The reason there is no age statement is that in order to place the age on a bottle of Scotch, even a blend, it must display the age of the youngest whisky in the blend. Rumors are vast and plentiful, but the prevailing thought is that there are whiskies as young as 12 years and as old as 40 years. The actual number is a secret held by Diageo.
