Unforgettable

Warning: Spoilers
I can't believe no one has reviewed this amazing episode. It's written and acted so well. While FBI man Vinnie has been under cover with Sonny Steelgrave in an attempt to bring him down, an unlikely close friendship has genuinely formed beteween the two and in this final episode, the revelation that Vinnie is not who he seems is devastating to Sonny (and to Vinnie himself). Both see it as the ultimate betrayal. "Nights in white satin" plays on the jukebox while the two sit facing each other after a fight and it's clear to see on both faces. The love and anguish consuming them before the inevitable ending is brilliantly acted. Sonny's last words "I loved you , man" sums it up. And Vinnie, as later episodes show, will never be the same again.

Amazing TV

I remember seeing this episode as a kid and couldn't believe how thrilling TV could be. The episode was the culmination of the excellent first season of "Wiseguy" and better than some of the best movies still being watched today. It is quite sad for fantastic TV to fade into obscurity whereas even mediocre movies still get recycled and watched. The episode was full of edge-of-your-seat suspense and hearbreak. It was fantastically written, directed and acted. I wouldn't even know where to rewatch it today but I might not even need to, as I can still remember images from it from over decades ago. This was honestly some of the best TV I have ever seen.
