In an odd story, Jeff Duane is running from a town where he shot a man and is need of water. He comes up on a 'bad' water hole and all of the sudden a rider comes up that has been shot in the back and killed. In hopes of water he follows the rider's horse and comes up on a ranch farm that is owned by two sisters, Ray and Kate. There father has just died and now Kate is engaged to Lee Bland that wants to run the ranch for a place to raid other farmers and sell the cattle in Mexico. Kate is 'all in' on the deal but Ray wants nothing to do with the rustling and asks Duane to help her get away from Kate.
Even more odd, Lee then asks Duane to become a member of his gang and he agrees because Kate came-on to him. But he still has the plan of helping Ray escape the path that Bland is taking the ranch.
Too much going on in this episode. So much left, so many situations unclear. And even when the show was over, it ended in a matter that was so quick the viewer did not have time to react. There was just too many strange things in this program. Another strange event was when Duane shot one of the Bland's members in the arm then all of the sudden in the next scene they become the best of friends. Never understood that incident. Anyway, this was a show that never finished any story-line before moving to the next event.
