Cattleman vs. Sheepmen
bkoganbing25 May 2017
Cattlemen vs. Sheepmen is usually a good plot premise for a lot of westerns. In this case Stephen McNally who is not a bloodthirsty sort is on patrol with cronies from the Cattleman's Association and they come across Cesar Romero who is from Spain herding his sheep across cow country. That starts things.

Young Robert Harland working under McNally's orders harasses Romero but falls off his horse and breaks an arm. Romero takes him in and sets it. Romero is a cultured man who is probably a bit more cultured than many in that line of work. It gets Harland thinking and sets up a conflict between him and McNally.

I will say that this one does have a different kind of ending, different than the usual shoot 'em up westerns. For that reason you shouldn't miss this Zane Grey Theater episode.
