Olicer Muñoz has clearly demonstrated a keen ability to reveal his characters to the audience while simultaneously developing his story. The way he presents the back story of Elliot and Olivia's relationship is both natural and entertaining. While the young and old Olivia don't resemble themselves as perfectly as the young and old Elliot do, they both give great performances. In fact, young Olivia gives the best performance of the film. That's not to take away from the older Olivia's performance or that of both Elliots. All of the actors in those lead and supporting roles are natural and give credibility to the quirky but entertaining storyline. We also know from watching Elliot that Muñoz values creative and effective sound design. The dialogue is clean and present, two qualities often lacking in smaller productions. The detail applied to sound of the time machine also sells the machine as both powerful and dangerous. Elliot and the Universal Constant left me feeling hopeful and I'm looking forward to seeing what else Muñoz can bring to us in his future films.

Eliot and the Universal Constant is a film that transcends time. I have watched it about ten times and love it every single time. I enjoyed every aspect of the film from the direction to the original score. I also enjoyed the graphic design in the beginning and the end of the film. If you loved back to the future you will love this film. This film evokes real emotions. I liked that although there is heavy material in the film, the out burst of comedic scenes lightens the mood. The film is for young and old. Eliot and Olivia do a wonderful job playing romantic opposites. I give the film a two thumbs up. This is a film you must not miss.
