I had seen Hank on the show, but that documentary was incredible. You really get to see and hear what he's like in person! It looks like he lived a pretty sad life, but enjoyed the time in the spotlight, despite the crap he put up with. Best part was Hank smoking was looked like weed with his buddies! His Mom was really interesting - she seemed pretty calm about her son drinking and basically resigned herself to the fact that he is an alcoholic. Other great scenes to watch for - Hank breaks a window of a car with a rock and listen to everyone laughing in the background. Also, there's an interview with him of the statue of liberty looks two feet tall.
