- William Barnett (Tim Reid) shows Hyde 2 front row tickets for Eric Clapton show in Chicago, but they are not for him. William has a more modest, yet filial treat: house-sitting. William wants Hyde to bring in his mail, water his plants and feed the dog while he is at the concert in Chicago.
Steven's resolve to be responsible can't resists the gang's party-hunger. Randy wants to check if they can fit 500 people in the pool. In fact, he's the worst table-jumper, but Hyde is too stoned to remember. The next morning as the gang tries to clean up the house, Hyde manages to damage a guitar autographed by a famous musician Peter Frampton. It's ruined after attempted repairs and clean-up by Leo and Fez. They manage to fix the guitar but wipe off the Frampton autograph. Hyde fake signs the Frampton autograph himself.
Dad returns with one guitar signed by Eric Clapton and gifts it to Hyde. William reacts remarkably to the truth. William understands that Hyde destroyed the previous guitar and had a party at his house without permission. William says that finally he has a son. But William doesn't trust Hyde with the Clapton guitar anymore. Fez broke his toilet seat trying to reheat some pizza (it had a heater built in). Leo peed in his pool.
Bob is angry that Kitty is calling Donna names for dating Randy. Donna tries to apologize to Kitty for kissing Randy in Eric's room, but Kitty is no mood to reconcile. She calls Donna "trash". She calls Randy a Jackass for being charming, friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. Red defends Donna and says that Randy is bright and good with tools and has nothing to do with Star Wars. Kitty is furious at Red liking Randy and makes life miserable for him. Meanwhile Donna discovers Kitty's semi-sanctimonious fury at her relationship with Randy is not about any of them three nor loyalty to 'baby boy' Eric, but about Eric desertion.
Kitty blames Donna that Eric left as she was a less than perfect girlfriend, but Donna reckons that Eric left as Kitty was smothering him and he wanted space to grow. Donna doesn't know what else to do and goes to speak with Red. Red tells Donna that she cannot go around telling the truth to other people's faces.
Red speaks to Kitty and makes her realize that when he went to Korea, Kitty also dated other men to keep her options open. Red also tells Kitty that it was Eric who broke up with Donna and so she is within her rights to date other men.
Donna compromises and says that she won't kiss Randy in front of her anymore, although she is firm that she won't get back with Eric whenever he comes back. Kitty speaks to Donna and admits she is angrier at Eric, as he was supposed to stay, marry Donna and given them 3 grand-kids named Ronald, Rose and Kitty Junior. She didn't anticipate him going to Africa at all. Donna says that she will always care about Eric, but it is over between them.
