What if there is no sword for Adam to become He-man??? Warning: Spoilers
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Season 1. Episode 3. "Disappearing Act"

----"What if there is no sword for Adam to become He-man???"----

Orko accidentally sends Adam´s sword to the past. Meanwhile, Skeletor infiltrates the Royal Castle and kidnaps Prince Adam with the aid of two helmets that make the ones who wear them invisible together with some kind of ray that freezes people.

Orko, Man-At-Arms and Cringer consult Sorceress and she sends Orko and Cringer back in time to recover Adam´s Sword. Adam is imprisoned by Skeletor in a cell in the middle of a jungle. On their side, Orko and Cringer find themselves in the middle of a jungle too, but a prehistoric one and have to recover the sword from a giant.

Man-At-Arms prepares a He-man´s Robot to fool Skeletor or any other enemy of He-man while the real He-Man comes back. Also, while imprisoned in his cell, Prince Adam tries to use a Man-At-Arms' device that is able of attracting any creature that flies to call their winged ally; Stratos.

SO...WHAT WHEN THERE IS NO SWORD FOR ADAM TO BECOME HE-MAN???

This episode is important because it establishes that:

1)The heroes are not defenseless when He-Man is not around, even when he is the leading hero, the other heroic characters have many resources to use in his absence.

2)Even if he is not transformed into He-Man, Adam is not completely defenseless either, even imprisoned, he still has a pair of tricks (partially thanks to the inventions of Man-At-Arms; without any doubt, the greatest hero in the series after He-Man)

3)Orko and Cringer may not be among the most powerful characters when Cringer is not transformed into Battlecat and Orko´s magic doesn´t work (which happens, actually, very often), but they are able of helping too when needed.

So, well, we had a nice adventure to watch and as a final remark, I want to comment that when Cringer and Orko are being pursued by the giant and they start screaming for help, the only thing they get is to have half the jungle running after them. In my opinion that can be a metaphor meaning that when you talk about your problems with the wrong people, you only end up having much more.

Thanks for reading.
