Rather pointless

Not quite as interesting as its companion piece ('Phone call from Imaginary Girlfriend: Ankara') since, instead of focusing on the hotel visited to bring back memories of her lover, this short is more of a tourist compilation of significant sights in the Turkish capital. Also, rather than sparsely providing rather oversized subtitles for the original spoken Turkish, this film's narration is in English, and delivered by a seemingly star-eyed, besotted girl whom, always smiling, lacks a lot of the mystery surrounding her counterpart from the other film.

Still, interesting.
