. . . is abbreviated to 9 minutes, 46.98 seconds by eliminating the questions, and only including answers from six key THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH cast members. Pierce Brosnan, a.k.a. James V in Eon Production Company's scheme of things, notes that the essence of Agent 007 is "cruelty, martinis, sex--and, of course, his weapon." As with most of these flippant answers, the latter day press conference editors follow it with what's probably meant to be an illustrative sound clip from the feature film (in this case, Denise Richards as "Christmas" says "Somebody's going to have my ass," to which Brosnan replies, "First things first"). As himself, Pierce later admits that the oil tunnel fireball sequence "gave me cause for concern." Later he discloses, "I have the option to do a (fourth Bond feature), and I would like to exercise that option" (which he did making DIE ANOTHER DAY for release in 2002). "I've just had a blast doing this role--I have no complaints, I'm very happy, but I do know we can push it (Bond) further: this man has doubts, moral ambiguity--he's fractured," Brosnan adds.
