A teenage boy is troubled by visitations from the spirit of a young boy in a paper mask, the vision begins with a purple balloon, and the sound of rain, the family already have the help of medium Jennifer.
The penultimate episode of the show, and like most of the episodes in this second series, it is an incredible, dramatic, moving, entertaining and generally sensational watch. All I can say, we needed more, two series simply weren't enough.
Some mild horror here, I'm not sure you could watch this, and not think of IT, the clown mask, the balloon, maybe just a glimpse of it.
The story is an amazing one, it's very powerful, it really does work, but this one is all about Robert making his final preparations, he's trying to sort everyone and everything out
The main question was always going to be, will he tell Alison, the pair have had a bizarre relationship, but does he think enough of her to confide his news.
Claire Rushbrook was excellent as Jennifer, you automatically think she's going to be a fraud, but she knew that Robert was hiding a big secret.
The ending had me howling.
10/10.
