- Male strippers appear in one scene wearing only small briefs. They end up pillow fighting, but the scene still comes off as somewhat suggestive.
- A woman grabs her own clothed breast in one scene and jiggles it briefly.
- A man and woman (possibly topless, or wearing a strapless bikini) sit closely while sharing a hot tub together and holding drinks.
- Several women in the film display large amounts of cleavage. Joe is briefly seen showering (shot is from the waist up).
- A farmer's daughters try to make (presumably sexual, but never directly stated) advances towards Pee-Wee. Pee-Wee tells one of them he is "saving himself for marriage."

- Pee-wee is captured by a tough girl gang who tie him up and threaten him with a knife.
- Pee-wee falls into a deep, dark, claustrophobic hole. Unable to escape he starts to experience hallucinations, including of an aggressive Abraham Lincoln and of Queen of England with mouths where her eyes should be. This nightmare-fuel was terrifying enough to send our seven-year-old into hysterics, unwilling to finish the film.
- A few creepy/scary moments here and there, but it is mostly humorous and not meant to be taken seriously.
