Burnside and Pearce are investigating some pretty major thefts of cigarettes, they find many avenues blocked, but look to a stripper, Lisa for help.
It's a good episode, it's watchable enough, with a fair plot, but this is notable only for one particular reason, and that is the end of Frank Burnside, for a few years at least. His appearance definitely elevated this episode, there is something about his presence that just makes an average episode, into a good one.
Frank somehow seemed not to fit anymore, he's been less and less visible, and it has been to the detriment of the show, but there are definite changes happening, and his oldskool Policing no longer fits.
Is Danny perhaps being given some of Burnside's characteristics, something of a bad boy, but nothing so .....old school.
It's a good one, but Burnside deserved a better send off, 8/10.
