A beautiful series to watch endlessly with children
testmatt0077 December 2017
Zdenek Miller, a considerable personality of Czech animation, has made generations of children in his country and elsewhere laugh and dream, with one of the most charming characters in his personal bestiary: the little mole, created in 1957. In this series of seven unpublished shorts made in 1979, we will discover a new creature, a cricket, animated with the same talent. On a background of formal naivete, a subtly surrealist spirit makes these films a pure delight.

Beautiful Cartoon
perejanos17 June 2018
My parents being born in eastern Europe, have led me to grow up on a lot of old cartoons, Cvrcek being one of them. Recently I found the old dvd I use to watch it on, and recovered the footage. Re-watching the shorts helped me reminded me about the joy and happiness of my childhood, which I otherwise would of forgotten. I adore Cvrcek and Zdenek Miller's work. His cartoons help shape my childhood and many other's too. Cvrcek, along with Krtek, the Little Mole have a special place in my heart. Thank you for making these heartwarming cartoons Zdenek Miller.
