Shows like ‘Cake Boss’ and ‘Naked and Afraid’ will soon be disappearing from your PlayStation library, whether you paid for it or not.
One of the worst changes brought on by the streaming revolution is the lack of content ownership. Digital purchases are highly convenient, allowing users to have their favorite show or movie available on-demand anywhere. The flipside of this coin is that often, customers who “buy” a show or movie digitally don’t actually own that content permanently.
A long list of Warner Bros. Discovery shows are being removed from PlayStation Network and the libraries of users who paid for them. The list includes popular titles like “Cake Boss,” “Deadliest Catch,” “Mythbusters,” and many more. These series can still be viewed on Max or discovery+. 7-Day Free Trial $9.99+ / month Max via amazon.com
