Violence & Gore

  • A character is placed in a guillotine. He escapes at the last second.
  • A man is punched out of frame.
  • There is mention of people chopping off heads.
  • A few bloodless sword fights that mostly consist of slapstick.
  • Penny traps Sherman in a headlock. Sherman bites her arm off-screen and a picture of Penny with the wound is shown later.
  • Mr. Peabody is inadvertently hit several times in the face with a long piece of wood by Sherman. Played for laughs.
  • Sherman and Penny crash Leonardo Da Vinci's plane into a tree. They are okay.
  • The WABAC crashes twice with Mr. Peabody, Sherman, and Penny inside of it. They are okay.
  • The Trojan Horse falls off a cliff and crashes into several rocks protruding from the ocean. Mr. Peabody appears to have died into process, but it is revealed later that he escaped.
  • Two Shermans and Mr. Peabodys from separate timelines fuse together in an explosion. They appear dazed both in one body afterward.
  • Mr. Peabody loses his temper and bites Ms. Grunion's wrist. The action is not seen, but the chomp is heard and the wound is shown.
  • A man is tased twice. Once by a police officer and again by himself.
  • Mr. Peabody is captured by Animal Control and appears choked by the collar when he tries to resist.
  • The Sphinx's nose falls on Ms. Grunion. She survives being stuck under a nostril.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Mr. Peabody makes cocktails for himself and Penny's parents at his home.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • An imperious social worker decides Mr. Peabody is not a fit father, and drags away Sherman. When Sherman protests in pain, Mr. Peabody completely loses his temper at his adopted son being abused, momentarily reverts to his canine instincts and bites her. Unfortunately, this results in her calling Animal Control on him as a dangerous animal.
  • Mr. Peabody is captured by Animal Control and led away with a strong implication that he will be destroyed as a dangerous animal without so much as a trial despite obviously being of a human level intelligence and personality.

Violence & Gore

  • Mr. Peabody is nearly decapitated by a guillotine. He escapes.
  • Penny is told that she will be killed and mummified if King Tut dies during their marriage. She is shown a cartoony picture of a bloody woman being disemboweled. During their wedding ceremony, Penny's hand is nearly cut by a large blade for the blood oath. She is saved at the last second.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some scenes scare children.
