An absolute must for any budding film maker....
planktonrules19 March 2011
Although this is a rather short little film tucked into the bonus features diskette for "The Godfather Trilogy", it is a very important one for budding films makers, though others may also find of interest. It consists very simply of Francis Ford Coppola talking about eh process by which he created his working script for "The Godfather". He shows how read through the book, made notes i the margins, cut the book apart and created a working notebook for the movie. It's all very 'old school' but interesting. My only question is about the other two Godfather films--how did he go about creating such a notebook for them--or did he? Will the average viewer enjoy this short? Maybe not, though devoted fans of the movie (and there are a bazillion) would no doubt find it interesting. And, at only 10 minutes, it's worth a look.
