- Alternate versionsThe original release of this film included Led Zeppelin playing "Dazed & Confused", and ran 85 minutes. This version was released on 16mm and VHS. When LZ prepared their own DVD compilation in 2003, they included the Supershow clip which had been bought from the film makers on the condition that the LZ footage would not be included in any future reissues of that film. This is why the Supershow DVD runs about ten minutes shorter.

Blues,Blues & More Blues
If you've never heard of this film...such a pity. This poorly distributed performance film seems to have been produced for BBC TV, or some other network either in England or the rest of Europe. The cast includes Buddy Guy,Steven Stills (on loan from Crosby,Stills,Nash & Young),and...yes...Led Zepplin! I had the chance of seeing this film some years ago when I spotted it in a very hip video outlet (in the old VHS foremat). It seems to go from performer to performer without much fanfare (or announcements). It was the Led Zep footage that won me over (Zep plays 'Dazed & Confused'--and not the half hour version from 'Song Remains The Same',as this film was produced some years before 'Song' was). If this film hasn't been released on DVD as of yet, it sure deserves to. If you liked The Rolling Stones Rock & Roll Circus, you'll love 'Supershow'.
