Fascinating

Warning: Spoilers
Fascinating and beyond belief. In Search of Strange Visitors/Oracle Chamber had my curiosity running! Who built this rock formation 1000 years ago? Why was the Oracle Chamber built? Mystery rock was not built by the Indians. Built before the early known European settlers arrived. Not built by the Vikings. The In Search of crew interviews experts. Looks at the sight. Seeks the legends. The conclusion is from design and building methods of the Oracle resemble Ancient Greece methods. Could agent Greeks arrive at the new world, not knowing what they found years before Columbus? Quite possible. Beyond belief! Found the topic, narration, direction etc mind blowing. Seven out of ten stars.

Mystery Hill

Second broadcast episode of the TV series is a more typical entry, profiling the oracle chamber on Mystery Hill in New Hampshire, which may have been settled by ancient Phoenicians, leaving behind a fascinating and mysterious geographical marvel in its wake. Noted parapsychologist and author Hans Holzer is on hand to personally investigate this place, and talk with local experts and interested parties about its history and enduring appeal, which continues to fascinate. First episode to really showcase its eerie music and effective style that would make this series so memorable decades later. It may be a place worth visiting if you're in the area.

In Search Of... "Oracle Chamber" (1977)

The second episode of the beloved series takes a look at Mystery Hill in New Jersey, which is a rock formation, which was used as shelter but no one knows who exactly created it. Was it early settlers from Europe or perhaps someone was in the location years before that. For the most part this episode is much better than the first one as we're given some nice bits of history as well as a few theories on who might have created the template. It's also interesting to hear about the Druids theory and possible human sacrifices at the location.
