Great short film
mthomson1319729 June 2012
I had the fortune of attending the official premiere of Ignotus at the Italian Embassy in Washington D.C. and I then understood why this short film won 25 international awards.

Beautifully photographed by Maurizio Calvesi, with its incredible unique locations in Italy, the richness and beauty of its costumes, the terrific performance of its Italian actors Sergio Sivori, Cristana Giordana and Franco Manella, this short film brought me back to the dark middle ages.

The story unfolds pretty fast and on multiple levels, with several flash backs describing the key moments of the knight's life.

Director Max Bartoli did a great job putting together a first class product with a very little budget.
