This hilarious episode follows up on the previous show in which Catalina gets deported and sent back to South America. Lovesick Randy pushes Earl to go down to Catalina's country and bring her back.
This episode includes a hilarious Hispanic version of Earl and Randy back in Catalina's home village (where they do a parody of the season one episode where Earl tried to break Donnie Jones' mom from smoking). The producers continue a great on going joke that's been with the series since day one--when Earl tries to get his passport photo taken he can't get one where his eyes aren't closed! Joy also has some choice moments provided by the new prescription medication that helps control her anger and makes her peaceful.
William Shallert appears in a small part as Earl and Randy's pediatrician. Shallert is a hall of fame sit com actor, whose resume includes playing both Gidget and Patty Duke's dad as well as "The Admiral" on "Get Smart".
