- Lucy is naked for a very large portion of the episode. Her breasts and buttocks are seen, though this isn't for any sexual reasons.
- Nyu is also seen naked before Kohta gives her his shirt to cover her up. Breasts and buttocks are seen, but this isn't sexual. (it should be noted that Nyu is also Lucy)
- Nyu urinates on the floor, then Yuka is seen giving her a bath with Nyu's bare breasts and Yuka's bare buttocks seen. It's hard to see as the seen is dimly lit.
- When given new clothes, Nyu pulls on her shirt, briefly exposing one of her breasts. This isn't sexual though, she just doesn't understand how to wear clothes.

- Literally the very first scene is of a mans newly severed arm still twitching in a pool of blood.
- A total of 23 people die in just the first ten minutes.
- The episode begins with a shot of a man's severed arm on the floor in a pool of blood, with digits still twitching. A few seconds later, Lucy is shown holding his severed head.
- Several people are beheaded and dismembered, some in very graphic and gruesome ways.
- A woman is beheaded and used as a human shield.
- A man's heart is ripped out onscreen, and the gaping wound is clearly visible. The heart, still beating, lands on another man and soils his blazer.
- Lucy is shot in the head with a sniper rifle. She survives, but it apparently causes brain damage and we see blood dripping down her head.
- Kohta angrily yells at Nyu for breaking a memento of his.

- The beginning (and first 10 minutes) of this episode is VERY violent and VERY disturbing.
- The beginning killings are accompanied by LOADS of blood spraying and very disturbing imagery (especially since many are dismembered)
- Kohta's outburst, while not violent, is still pretty intense.
- The ending to this episode is very sad.
