. . . and Mr. Know It All is the best thing since cut cheese. HOW TO SHOOT PAR is no exception to this generous rule. Though Mark Twain cogently observed that "Golf is a good walk spoiled," Bullwinkle J. Moose shows viewers how to make the most of it. First off, he inspire's the future Tiger's habit of chugging down a cup of tea on the initial hole. Next, he thinks "outside-the-box" in his choice of irons. Finally, Bullwinkle demonstrates the surest method of blasting out of sand traps. Literally thousands of How-to tomes have cluttered up the presses, all offering to help a duffer save a stroke here or there. However, Bullwinkle tops Bobby Jones, Arnold, Jack and Cat Forrest when it comes to the niceties of the game.

Of course, our moose friend is rescued when Rocky manages to tie his rope to a flagpole. Boris does several things, including hurling a flower pot, but nothing seems to dissuade the erstwhile pair. In the second half, the boys decide to quit doing things from the top down and reverse it. Bullwinkle is tricked into an out of order elevator and appears to fall to his death. However, the elevator is filled with box tops and he only falls a foot. Boris and Natasha load the precious cargo into a van and take off, leaving a TNT booby trap for R & B. The explosion leads to interesting consequences. The Fractured Fairy Tale concerns Sleeping Beauty. A prince comes along and decides people will pay to see her asleep and builds a them park around her. Soon the evil witch who put her to sleep wants in on the action. Dudley Do Right is sent to bring in Nell, who has started a show business career, playing into the hands of Snidely Whiplash.

. . . of exactly how many box tops would it take to fill a 42-story tall elevator shaft. Many variables need to be taken into account by those truly committed to puzzling out this conundrum. Not all boxes have tops of a uniform size. Bigger boxes tend to have larger tops, while smaller containers have tinier upper flaps. Furthermore, some container toppers are thick enough to count double--or even triple. Cigar box uppers are notoriously stacked, especially when compared to the much thinner cardboard of the typical breakfast cereal or saltine cracker dispenser. However, Prof. John J. Johnson of the M. S. U. Department of Packaging pinpoints the correct box top total to be 844,701,316, plus or minus half a billion.
