Certainly the most informative part of the . . .

. . . . 18th airing for The Bullwinkle Show on Friday, March 18, 1960 is titled MR. KNOW-IT-ALL: HOW TO CURE HICCUPS. When Bullwinkle J. Moose informs Rocket J. Squirrel of his plan to rid Boris Bad-Enough of this menacing malady, the main problem presented is that Boris is NOT currently suffering from the Heartbreak of Hiccups. The moose then tells the crook that he can GET hiccups through 1)eating rich foods, 2)over-exertion and 3)drinking 42 gallons of milk. However, thanks to the Miracle of Modern Medicine in this Our Modern 21st Century and America's Physician, Dr. Tony, we now know that hiccups are caused by 1)swallowing excessively, 2)gastronomic re-flux, 3)hi-at-all hernia, 4)eating food too rapidly, 5)consuming carbonated drinks, booze, dry breads and spicy foods, 6)swallowing opiates originating in China and 7)laughing too vigorously or too long during episodes of The Bullwinkle Show.

Inexplicably, this page alleges that . . .

. . . the Fractured Fairy Tale included within Season 1, Episode 18--March 18, 1960--of The Bullwinkle Show is "Pinocchio." However, it's actually TOM THUMB. After about a dozen Bullwinkle episodes, the data entry flunky began typing random misinformation instead of listing the actual contents of the purported episodes being explicated. As prognosticator William Butler Yeats prophesied in THE SECOND COMING, when the middle cannot hold, society is verging on some sort of apocalyptic catastrophe. Who could give a thumbs up to a TOM THUMB in which Pinocchio's nose refuses to grow? Certainly not Eddie Scissor-Hands.

Warning: Spoilers
Bullwinkle is rescued by his flying squirrel buddy who launches a sort of Kamikaze attack on the Abominab-b-b-b-ble Snowman. It turns out that the two moon men are actually inside a giant suit. Their Las Vegas act failed when the inadvertently froze their entire audience. Now the Moose and Squirrel must choose between providing the moon men with transport back to the moon or turn their secret over to the government. Other features include a hilarious version of the story of Tom Thumb, who goes bad after a lifetime of problems due to his size (he ends up looking like a pint sized Marlon Brando from "The Wild One." In perhaps my favorite "Dudley Do Right" episode, Dudley is tricked into giving away the RCMP camp to Snidely Whiplash in a series of hilarious events. Snidely bargains with Inspector Fenwick for the hand of Nell. The wedding proceeds and the deed is handed over. It is revealed that Snidely hadn't married Nell, he had married Dudley's horse "in a Nell suit." Some of the best stuff ever.
