Warning: Spoilers
. . . 99.99% of people flying in the West. The only exception, apparently, was James Bond's Eon Production Company and their British Airways Hench People. While most everyone else in the Real World was having their match books, nail clippers, and hair gel seized by the authorities before they could board jets, Eon was asking B.A. to "Jump" and all this airline replied was, "How high?" B.A. advertising honcho Abby McGowan says here that while Civillization's other major airlines were Jihad-proofing their crew cabins and refining their Terrorist No-Fly Lists, her bunch were hard at work trying to coordinate the fall issue of B.A.'s "Highlife" in-flight magazine so that REAL terror-spooked passengers could read the SAME cover story about a ludicrous genetically-altered Bond villain that Pierce Brosnan as Eon's James V would in DIE ANOTHER DAY (though he didn't, because this reckless scene was cut from the final film). British Airways underling Vanessa Orange says here that this expected B.A. Triumph of Make Believe took about 10 weeks to pull off, meaning that the planning for it must have started Sept. 12, 2001, or so.
