Tag Team Championship

Sting & Lex Luger (C) Vs Harlem Heat

Jimmy Hart runs down and tries to throw in the towel. Harlem Heat stops him. Sting takes advantage and rolls up Stevie Ray from behind to get the win and retain the titles. Goofy finish aside, this was going pretty decent while it lasted. I think this deserves at least two stars.

** (out of 5)

Fire & Ice

Fire & Ice are Scott Norton & Ice Train Vs The Steiner Brothers

The Steiner Brothers win after Rick pins Ice Train with a running lariat (Or a steinerline) There were some impressive feats of strength by both teams here, and that's what this match was mostly about. It had suplexes and military press slams galore.

*1/4

Ric Flair taunts Randy Savage with Elizabeth and says he's not worried about losing his title to The Giant. I know that's a lazy recap, but it's a typical Flair interview.

Parking Lot Brawl

The Belfast Bruiser Vs Steven Regal

Regal wins with a piledriver on the hood of a car. This was an average brawl for the most part with a couple of standout moments. I did like how they used the bumper of a car as a weapon, though. That was pretty creative.

WCW Heavyweight Championship

Ric Flair (C) (W/Miss Elizabeth & Woman) Vs The Giant (W/Jimmy Hart)

The Giant wins the title with a chokeslam. The Giant says he'll take on anybody at anytime, now that he's the champion. Well, this title reign of Flair kinda sucked. As I stated in one of my Nitro reviews, Flair had become a caricature of himself. The Giant was being booked well at this juncture.

A Giant Step
clayface924 May 2020
The first match is Sting and Lex Luger defending the Tag Team Championship against Harlem Heat. The Steiner Brothers face Fire and Ice (Scott Norton and Ice Train). Gene Okerlund interviews Ric Flair, Woman and Miss Elizabeth. Steve Regal takes on the Belfast Bruiser in a Parking Lot Brawl. The main event is Ric Flair defending the World Championship against the Giant. Good episode. Stay tuned for NBA basketball!
