Overexposure.

Warning: Spoilers
Hour one.

Live from Grand Rapids, MI

Your hosts are Tony Schiavone & Larry Zbyszko

Sting is shown watching in the rafters. Sting was definitely eerie in this role.

Marcus Bagwell (W/Scotty Riggs) Vs Brad Armstrong

Bagwell wins with a flying cross-body. This was a solid opener! Both guys worked their asses off and provided great energy. I didn't care about it initially, but they made me buy into it with their excellent work.

***

Diamond Dallas Paige Vs Ice Train (W/Teddy Long)

The Outsiders attack Ice Train during the match, allowing DDP to hit the Diamond Cutter for the win. The storyline development was good here. It made you wonder if DDP was part of the nWo.

Cruiserweight Championship

Dean Malenko (C) Vs Scotty Riggs (W/Marcus Bagwell)

Malenko wins with a Oklahoma Roll. Dissension is teased between Riggs and Bagwell. This was far too short to be anything all that special.

*1/2

Hour two.

Your hosts are Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay & Bobby Heenan

Chris Beniot (W/Woman) Vs Hector Guererro

Beniot wins due to outside interference from Woman. This match was certainly decent, but it didn't have any real heat behind it. It just felt there for no reason. I also question that Beniot needed to cheat to win,

**1/4

Jeff Jarrett rambles on about WCW having no proper leader. He criticizes Sting and Piper for only caring about themselves. He says Hogan is going down. Sting watches on from the rafters.

Reina Jubuki Vs Madusa

Madusa wins with a bridging German Suplex. More time would have been nice with this one. What we got wasn't bad, though.

*1/2

Chris Jericho Vs M. Wallstreet

Jericho wins with an inside cradle. Wallstreet had too much offense for my liking. It really brought the match down a few notches. It was a big win for Jericho, though.

**

Chris Jericho and Teddy Long get into it with Nick Patrick's attorney. Jericho and Long accuse Patrick of being a paid employee of the nWo.

Lex Luger Vs Booker T (W/Sister Sherri)

Luger wins with a roll-up after Col. Rob Parker gets involved. This match was nothing special. Booker T was starting to show the signs of why he'd become a breakout star.

**

We get ANOTHER replay of the confrontation between Hollywood Hogan and Roddy Piper from Halloween Havoc.

Next, is a promo from Hulk Hogan. Hogan says he made Nitro the hottest ticket in town. If he doesn't get nominated or win a cable ace award, he's gonna steal Ted Turner's. Hogan says he tried to get Piper in the ring, but Piper is a coward. Hollywood Hogan is your master and the nWo champion. He poses to end the show.

Thoughts: Hogan's promo was nothing special. This was just to kill some time for the remaining 5 minutes or so. You aren't missing anything.

Well, this episode is just above average. I felt this episode ran a bit long, to be honest. I didn't see the need to show Piper and Hogan's confrontation for seemingly the 20th time. You won't regret it if you watch it, but you aren't missing anything either.

The first match is Marcus Bagwell versus Brad Armstrong. Diamond Dallas Page takes on Ice Train. Dean Malenko defends the Cruiserweight Championship against Scotty Riggs. Chris Benoit faces Hector Guerrero. Mike Tenay interviews Jeff Jarrett, Chris Benoit and Steve McMichael. Madusa faces Reina Jabuki in the first round of the Women's Championship Title tournament. Chris Jericho takes on Mike Wallstreet. Mike Tenay interviews Nick Patrick and his attorney, Alan Sharp. The main event is Lex Luger versus Booker T. The show ends with Hollywood Hogan coming out and cutting a promo on Roddy Piper. An okay episode.
